I absolutely love coastal photography. There is something about the contrast of land and sea, the sound of waves crashing on the beach, the unbroken views, the smell of the air and the fresh wind on my face. Capturing a seascape at sunrise or sunset, or in moody stormy weather is a real passion for me.

Like many landscape photographers, I've discovered that drone photography allows me to capture landscapes like never before. Can you imagine being able to position your camera wherever you want to create the perfect composition? You'll find a lot of photos with moody lighting - I love storms, sunrises and sunsets - as well as capturing the beauty of the English countryside, villages and churches, especially around Berkshire and Oxfordshire.

Living in Berkshire I'm fortunate to be blessed with some wonderful places for walking and photography in the surrounding area. From the River Thames to the Chiltern Hills there is no end to the opportunities for capturing the beauty that surrounds me.

Night time photography is a real fascination of mine and I love all the opportunities it presents: whether it is capturing the awe inspiring vastness of the heavens that surround us, or the mystery and character of a city street after dark.

Cambridge is a city that cradled my days and whispered secrets into my ears. Ten years of cobbled streets, ancient spires, and the comforting hum of bicycles. Now, with camera in hand, I chase memories—sunsets over the River Cam, the hallowed halls of King’s College, and the elusive Mathematical Bridge

During 2023 I spent several months recuperating from surgery, with limited mobility and unable to travel easily. The joy of finding beauty in the simple things that surrounded me was a great help in the early weeks of my recovery.
